- Description
- The objective of this Request for Information (RFI) is for the Government to gain knowledge of potential contractors to perform an aircraft modification at a wing splice.� Please respond to the following requests and questions accordingly: Describe the scope/effort(s) accomplished by your company associated with US Military and Commercial Aerospace Structural Bonding. Include aircraft platform(s), contract numbers, and timeframes on and for which work was accomplished.� Also, include material and/or process certifications, training, and experience which were necessary to satisfactorily perform the work. Include Commercial and Military Specifications to which the work was required and accomplished. Describe the scope/effort(s) accomplished by your company associated with US Military and Commercial Aerospace Sealing.� Include aircraft platform(s), contract numbers, and timeframes on and for which work was accomplished.� Also, include material and/or process certifications, training, specifications, and experience which were necessary to satisfactorily perform the work. Include Commercial and Military Specifications to which the work was required and accomplished. Describe the scope/effort(s) accomplished by your company associated with US Military and Commercial Aerospace Kit Building. Include aircraft platform(s), contract numbers, and timeframes on and for which work was accomplished.� Also, include material and/or process certifications, specifications, and experience which were necessary to satisfactorily perform the work.� Include challenges with Kit building including limited life materials and staging with dependency on aircraft availability. Include Commercial and Military Specifications to which the work was required and accomplished. Describe the scope/effort and complexity accomplished by your company associated with US Military and Commercial Aircraft Structural Modifications. If applicable for any aircraft modifications, describe use of engineering drawings as the definition of the modification configuration. Include aircraft platform(s), contract numbers, and timeframes on and for which work was accomplished.� Also, include material and/or process certifications, training, and experience which were necessary to satisfactorily perform the work.� Include TCTO numbers, if applicable. If you subcontracted work, what work was done by you as prime and what was performed by subcontractors. List work accomplished by your company on US Government Aircraft on US Government Military Installations.� Include examples of teamwork with US Government personnel and maintaining positive working relations within the US Government. Include Government software systems to which access was obtained for accomplishing the work to include US Government parts ordering and supportability. Include familiarity with buying through MILSTRIP. Describe your company�s sheet metal and machining capabilities. Describe/list equipment, personnel, and facilities Include experience and knowledge associated with organic and inorganic aerospace finish systems. Describe your capability with Additive Manufacturing including 3D Printing. Include US Military and Commercial aircraft experience. Include equipment make and model if applicable. Include how outsourcing would be accomplished.
