This contract action is for one time buy of the following item: NOMENCLATURE: Cargo Hook NSN: 4030-01-64-72675 P/N: 724ES102-1 QUANTITY: 120 each The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 332510 and the size standard is 750 employees. The Cargo Hook is NOT Critical Safety Items (CSI). This part require engineering source approval by the design control activity and manufacture of them requires use of master or coordinated tooling. Currently the only known approved source for these items is Breeze-Eastern LLC (CAGE Code: 08484) and The Boeing Company (CAGE Code: 77272). Contractors are encouraged to seek Source Approval Request (SAR) in order to become an approved source by submitting documentation in accordance with the Competition Advocate's Shopping List procedures. Questions concerning SAR submissions can be directed to the ED SAR Team at ED-SAR@amrdec.army.mil or call the SAR Team at 256-313-6389 or 256-313-8286. The solicitation will not close prior to the closing date stated on the solicitation This announcement is for information and planning purposes only and should not be constructed as a commitment by the Government for any purpose. This announcement does not constitute a RFP. A synopsis will be issued at a later date for this requirement. Requests for a solicitation will not receive a response. No reimbursement will be made for any costs associated with providing information in response to this announcement and any follow-up information requested.
