Description

Renewal of Online Electronic Subscription to Teton Data Systems for STAT! Ref Notice of Intent to Sole Source (Subscription) 0919-20-1007. This is not a request for quotations or an announcement of a forthcoming solicitation, but merely notification of SSA's Intent to Renew, on a sole- source basis, a firm-fixed price Purchase Order to Teton Data Systems for continued access to electronic subscription entitled, ""STAT!Ref"". The Period of Performance shall be for a base period and four (4) option periods. The Base Period shall begin from date of contract award for a period of twelve (12) months thereafter. Under FAR Part 13.501(a), Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Sources Will Satisfy Agency Requirements. This requirement is utilizing procedures in the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 12 - Acquisition of Commercial Items in conjunction with procedures under FAR Part 13. STAT!Ref provides cross search of medical texts from various publishers. Teton Data Systems is the only known source that can provide these services. Requests for copies of a solicitation in response will not be honored or acknowledged. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed requirement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. The Government does not intend to pay for information provided in response to this publication. Written responses to this synopsis shall contain sufficient documentation to establish a bona fide capability to fulfill this requirement. If no affirmation responses are received within 3 business, in accordance with FAR 13.106-1(b)(2), the Government will proceed with Teton Data Systems as the only source. A purchase order will be issued without any additional notices being posted. Respondents should refer to 0919-20-1007. All responses must be submitted via email to Vachael.Mulbah@ssa.gov.
