- The Department of Veterans Affairs, Network Contracting Office 21 located in Las Vegas, Nevada intends to issue a firm fixed priced contract to Eagle Home Medical Corp. of Roanoke Rapids, NC. This procurement is being conducted in accordance with FAR 13.106-1(b) (1), Soliciting from a Single Source and VAAR 819.7007 Sole Source Awards to a Verified Service-disabled Veteran-owned Small Business. The NAICS code utilized for this procurement is 325120 with a Small Business Size Standard of 1000 employees. Eagle Home Medical was competitively awarded contract number 36C26119P0015, on 10/1/2018, with a base and four option periods, the last of which ends 9/30/2023. Due to an oversight, option year one that started 10/1/2019, wasn t exercised. Eagle Home Medical is still performing and is honoring their contract pricing used in 36C26119P0015. The contracting officer s determination to make a sole source award is a business decision wholly within the discretion of the contracting officer and in agreement with the FAR & VAAR clauses above.
