- Notice Type:� Special Notice � NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD A SOLE-SOURCE PURCHASE ORDER� Army Contracting Command APG, Tobyhanna Division intends to award a sole source purchase order for various Shore Microsystems items. Description: 5 each Network Protection Switch part number SM-NPC-12-APL � All items will be provided by:�������������������������������������������������������������������������������������� �Shore Microsystems 45 memorial PKWY Long beach NJ 07740 Shore Microsystems is the only company who can provide these parts. No other parts are acceptable because these are the parts called out in the Technical Manual. All Shore Microsystems parts called out in the Technical Manual are proprietary and only available through Shore Microsystems has no distributors and only sells direct to the Government. This is a critical component for mission essential equipment. The Government is not aware of any other vendors that are authorized by Shore Microsystems to provide these parts without compromising the required criteria cited above. The Government intends to acquire this supply under the guidelines of FAR Part 13, Simplified Acquisitions Procedures and FAR Part 12, Commercial Items. The Government intends to solicit and negotiate directly with Shore Microsystems. under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b)(1)(i). This is not a solicitation for competitive quotes. However, if any interested party that can provide this product without compromising the required criteria cited above, you may submit a statement of capabilities that may be considered by TYAD. A statement of capabilities must include the details of the parts listed above including manufacturer authorization, and a price list. These requirements shall be received by 4:30 pm. 12/31/2019 A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed requirement is based upon responses to this notice and it is solely within the discretion of the Government.
