- 12/19/2019� Amendment 0002 is hereby posted to extend the propsal delivery date from 22 January 2020 to 5 February 2020 and to answer bidder's questions.� Offerors are to note that any files or attachments not posted are available by written request to Jacqueline Black, jacqueline.black@navy.mil and Melissa Donnelly, melissa.donnelly@navy.mil. ************************************************************************************ 12/17/2019 Amendment 0001 is hereby posted to include answers to bidder's questions, a revised Attachment J-1, a revised Attachemnt J-2, an updated Attachment J-3, and an extension to the cutoff date for bidder's questions to 7 January 2020.� Offerors are to note that any files or attachments not posted are available by written request to Jacqueline Black, jacqueline.black@navy.mil and Melissa Donnelly, melissa.donnelly@navy.mil. ************************************************************************************ The Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA) issues solicitation N00024-20-R-4467 for the execution of the FY20 USS BATAAN (LHD 5) Selected Restricted Availability (SRA). The availability includes a combination of maintenance, modernization, and repair, and is expected to require a highly capable contractor with substantial facilities, to include an USS WASP class capable pier as well as human resources capable of completing, coordinating, and integrating multiple areas of ship maintenance, repair, and modernization. The availability is competed on a coast-wide basis. Based on the complexity, magnitude, and duration of the requirement, the Government's market research indicates there are not two or more small business concerns capable of competing for the requirement and therefore this procurement will not be set-aside for small business (FAR 19.502-2(b)). The solicitation is issued electronically via beta.SAM.gov and interested parties must comply with that announcement. Interested offerors should monitor the beta.SAM.gov page for the release of the solicitation, and any applicable amendments. Offerors must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) in order to participate in this procurement at https://www.sam.gov. SAM.gov is the single point of entry for posting of the synopsis and solicitations to the internet. All responsible sources may submit a proposal, which shall be considered by the agency. The work packages and all J and S attachments not posted will be released after the RFP has been announced on beta.SAM.gov. Offerors are to note that Attachment J-1 (Specification Package No. TPPC-DDG87-MARMCN20-CN01), Attachment J-1 Errata 1, Attachment J-1 Errata 2, Attachment J-2 (Work Item Plans, Drawings, and Other References), Attachment J-3 (BATAAN LHD5 Milestones) and Attachment J-4 (Pricing Workbook) will not�be posted to beta.SAM.gov and are available by written request to Jacqueline Black, jacqueline.black@navy.mil and Melissa Donnelly, melissa.donnelly@navy.mil. Those companies who wish to receive the Government Furnished Information (GFI) relevant to N00024-19-R-4467 are to submit a signed statement on company letterhead that states your company is a United States Department of Defense Contractor to Jacqueline Black at jacqueline.black@navy.mil and Melissa Donnelly at melissa.donnelly@navy.mil. This statement will be verified in System for Award Management located at (https://www.sam.gov/SAM/). The Government anticipates making a single award on or around June 2020. The availability start date is anticipated to be Sept 2020. The delivery date of the USS�BATAAN is to be no later than December 2021. The RFP contains the specific dates.
