- Transportation Seedling and Cold Storage This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. Solicitation No. W912EE20Q0006 is being issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ). This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2019-05. This procurement is 100% set-aside for Small Business. The North American Industry Classification System Code (NAICS) for this procurement is 493120, with Size Standard of $ 27,500,000.00. The Contractor will be required to deliver approximately 455,000 bare root hardwood seedlings from the nursery located near Bluff City, Arkansas (Arborgen).� The tractor/refrigerated trailer unit will be used to transport seedlings (f.o.b. nursery) from the nursery to two (2) designated delivery sites. GENERAL PURPOSE: The purpose of this contract is to find vendors who can provide and furnish a driver, tractor, and refrigerated trailer unit for transporting and storing seedlings from a designated nursery to two (2) sites specified by the Government. The refrigerated trailer shall be parked at the Government specified sites and will serve as the cold storage facility for storing the seedlings during the planting season.� The Contractor shall furnish a driver, tractor, and refrigerated trailer unit for transporting and storing seedlings from a designated nursery to two (2) sites specified by the Government. Quotes are due 27 December 2019, not later than 12:00 p.m. Central Time at the USACE Vicksburg District Contracting Office, 4155 East Clay Street, Vicksburg, MS, 39183.
