- Description
- The Logistics Readiness Center - Miami has a requirement for the lease of two (2) forklifts for warehouse operations.� The contractor shall provide two (2) electrical rental cushion tire forklifts and perform preventive maintenance and inspections at least once every month or as often as needed on both, a 6,000 lbs forklift and a 3,000 lbs forklift.� Forklifts will be housed in the Central Receiving and Distribution Point warehouse located at Westpointe Business Park, LRC � Miami, Supply and Services Division, 8900 NW 35th Lane, Suite 150, Doral, Florida 33172-1217.� The contractor shall perform inspections in accordance with manufacturer�s recommended service procedures.� The estimated period of performance is 5 February 2020 - 4 February 2025.� This is a presolicitation notice only. SPECIFIC TASKS. 1. The contractor shall provide two (2) electric-powered cushion tire forklifts. The contractor shall provide: 1.1. Audible Back-up Alarm Compliant with OSHA Standards 2 One (1) for 3,000 lbs electric-powered cushion tire forklift with the following salient characteristics: ? 24 �Load Center ? 2,500 lbs Net Rated Capacity ? 154� MFH with Slide-Shifter Attachment ? 36 Volts System Type E Rated ? 0.3 Section Hydraulic Valve Power Steering ? 190� Triplex Mast ? 87� Overall Lowered Height ? 35� Free Lift with 5 degree Forward tilt and 5 degree Back tilt ? 68.5� Wide ITA Class H Carriage ? 35� High Load Backrest ? 83� High Overhead Guard ? 3� Hydraulic Support Group ? 36� Long Pallet Forks ? Side Shifter ? Strobe Lights ? Audible Back-up Alarm Compliant with OSHA Standards 3.�The contractor shall provide one (1) industrial battery 1105 AMS, heavy-duty battery charger with the following salient characteristics: ? Trickle charge feature ? Three (3) phase 208/220/240 volts ? Fully automatic type of charger ? Capable of charging a 3,000 lbs and/or a 6,000 lbs forklift 4. The contractor shall perform monthly preventive maintenance and forklifts inspections at the end of each month. All maintenance, repairs, parts & labor shall be inclusive of the rental agreement price. 5.�If maintenance is need prior to the monthly inspections, the contractor shall have 24 hours to respond and repair the forklift once notified or provide a loaner until forklift is repaired. 6.�Inspections and preventive maintenance shall be performed at the LRC-Miami CRDP (warehouse) located at 8900 NW 35th Lane, Suite 150, Doral, FL 33172-1217.
