- The synopsis is for a pre-solicitation notification only.� NO SOLICITATION IS ATTACHED. The General Services Administration (GSA), Region 05, is seeking a qualified firm to furnish all labor, parts and materials to make repairs to the janitorial closets were dissimilar metals have been installed in the plumbing system at the faucets causing the lines to corrode and leak�at the John F. Seiberling Federal Building & U.S. Courthouse, 2 South Main Street, Akron, OH. 44308.� The construction performance period is 30 calendar days upon receipt of notice to proceed. This procurement is a total small business set aside. Funds are presently available.� The North American Industry Classification Code is 236220 with a size standard of $36.5 million. The total estimated construction cost for this project is between $25,000.00 and $100,000.00 This is a negotiated procurement; there will NOT be a public opening. The awardee will be competitively chosen using Source Selection (FAR 15.3) procedures.� The objective of the Source Process is to select a proposal that represents the best value to the Government.� The following factor will be considered when selecting a contractor: Past performance. Past Performance will be significantly more important than Price. The solicitation will be available on or about December 9, 2019. The Government reserves the right to make award on initial offers. The solicitation cited above can only be obtained by accessing the secure website, beta.SAM.gov.� This website replaces fbo.gov and�is designed to safeguard sensitive but unclassified (SBU) acquisition information and is fully integrated with other electronic Government initiatives, including the System for Award Management (SAM) (www.sam.gov).� Registration in beta.SAM is required in order to download solicitation documents and is used to validate vendor identity. Contractors not registered in this system�will be ineligible for award. Potential offerors will be responsible for downloading the solicitation and monitoring the website for amendment(s), if any to the solicitation. Offers will be due on or about January 6, 2020�at 12pm ET.� An award is anticipated before January 29, 2020.
