Description

The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division Lakehurst, NJ intends to negotiate on a sole source basis for the issuance of a contract with Canadian Commercial Corporation (CCC) / Curtis-Wright - Indal Technologies, Inc., to procure three (3) each Horizon Reference Sets (HRS) and an additional six (6) each Option HRS systems (P/N 212600-3). The Government intends to procure the above items under the authority of 10 USC 2304 (c) (1), FAR 6.302-1. Curtis Wright - Indal Technologies is the original developer of the HRS systems.� Although a complete technical data package was delivered previously, at this time, Indal is the only company that can meet the agency�s need for three (3) HRS systems for the DDG133, DDG134 and DDG135, as well as option units for DDG136, DDG137, FF 1, FF 2, DDG138, DDG139.� This is not a request for competitive proposals.� However, responsible sources are encouraged to submit a response to this synopsis in writing that contains information that may be used by the Government to determine whether or not to conduct a competitive procurement.� A determination by the Government not to open this requirement to competition based upon response(s) to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.� Information provided herein is subject to change and in no way binds the Government to solicit for an award of a contract.� The point of contact is Mr. David Mone, David.Mone@navy.mil.
