THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE ONLY. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL. This notice does NOT constitute a request for proposal, request for quote or invitation for bid. The intent of this notice is to identify potential offerors to determine what small business set-aside, if any, the requirement shall be competed under. Naval Facilities Engineering Command, Mid-Atlantic, PWD Great Lakes is seeking an eligible small business with the expertise in the removal and replacement of existing ballistic glazing at Recruit Training Command (RTC) CAMP PORTER Building 7315 - USS Wisconsin firing ranges. The work includes removing and replacing the 30 bulletproof glass windows and hollow �metal frames in the observation booths of the North and South ranges. 15 bulletproof glass windows and hollow-metal frames are located in the North range; the remaining 15 bulletproof glass windows and hollow-metal frames are in the South range. The glass is being upgraded from a UL 752 Level 4 to a UL752 Level 7, which will require modification to fit larger frames to support the thicker glass. The glass and panels will vary in sizes. The bulletproof glass shall meet UL7 specifications rated for M4 rifle with caliber 5.56 mm. The work shall be completed and ready for use not later than 120 calendar days after the date of the award. Interested SMALL BUSINESS entities are encouraged to respond to this source sought. The estimated cost for this project is $250,000 - $500,000. The NAICS code applicable to this type of work will be 238150 � Glazing Contractors. Product Service Code Z2CA.
