Description

NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD SOLE SOURCE CONTRACT The 766 Specialized Contracting Squadron, located at Joint Base Pearl Harbor?Hickam, Hawaii, intends to negotiate a firm-fixed price contract on a sole source based on FAR 6.302-1, only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. Loedige USA Inc. is the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) of an existing Mechanized Material Handling System (MMHS). This contract will replace, install, and test Motor Cabinet Control (MCC) housings, located in the 735th Air Mobility Squadron (AMS). The requirement will include the purchase and installation of twelve MCC housings with an optional line item for three additional MCC housings. For a contractor to be able to accomplish this project, the control wiring must be uninstalled from the old housings and reinstalled into the new housings. The controls of the MCC housings must also be reconfigured and will need to interface with existing Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs), and Inventory Control System (ICS) to integrate the new MCCs with the rest of the MMHS. The Government does not own PLCs/ICS source codes.�� This notice is not a request for competitive quotes. No solicitation document is available. However, any firm that believes it can meet the requirements may give written notification to the contracting officer�before the date listed on this synopsis. Supporting evidence must be furnished in sufficient detail to demonstrate the ability to comply with the above requirement. Please review attachment one (1) Performance Work Statement (PWS).
