- Notice of Intent and Brand Name. The Department of Veterans Affairs, Network Contracting Office (NCO) 21 intends to solicit and negotiate with Siemens Medical Solutions USA, Inc. for the Syngo.via Software Application Suite Licenses, Installation, and Training for a period of base plus four option years for use at the VA Northern California Health Care System at 10535 Hospital Way, Mather, CA 95655. Determination of this sole source procurement is in accordance with FAR 6.302-1 Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements because the supplies or services are unique or highly specialized. It is the Government s belief that the proposed candidate is the only provider of the Syngo.via Software Application Suite Licenses; and is the only manufacturer that can meet the agency s needs. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotes. No solicitation documents are available and telephone requests will not be accepted. However, any business that believes it can provide Syngo.via Software Application Suite Licenses, Installation, and Training for a period of base plus four option years may give written notice to moneque.rodriguez@va.gov by 11:59 EST on January 03, 2020. Supporting evidence must be furnished in sufficient detail to demonstrate the ability to comply with the above requirement. Responses will be considered by the Government; however, a determination by the Government not to compete the proposed acquisition based upon responses of this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. The applicable NAICS Code is 334517 and the size standard is 1,000 employees. No telephone requests will be accepted.
