Description
This solicitation is only for the MATOC Contractors listed below: W912HN20D3000 - W912HN20D3005 Brasfield & Gorrie Gilbane Federal JV Hensel Phelps Caddell Constructions Archer Wester MA Mortenson This project is a design-build project to create a new Commercial Vehicle/Visitor Access Control Facility for Robin's Air Base, Georgia. Work will include: Creation of secure area inside the current base perimeter fence to allow construction of the new Commercial Vehicle gate without coming into Robins AFB.� Gatehouse to provide support space for staff conducting inspections, monitoring scanners, and checking credentials of drivers of the commercial vehicles. �Vehicle Inspection Canopy/ID Check Area - located adjacent to the Gatehouse to provide space for inspection of vehicles and cargo, and where drivers will exit their vehicles and enter the Gatehouse to have their credentials checked. Once drivers and vehicles are cleared, they will proceed into the installation. Scanner Canopy (located between the truck queuing area and the Inspection Canopy) shall provide a protection for a vehicle X-Ray and an under-vehicle scanner to examine vehicles seeking entry onto the installation. Once vehicles have been scanned, they shall proceed to the vehicle inspection canopy/ID Check area. The area of the Vehicle Inspection Canopy and the Scanner Canopy shall not exceed maximum of 13,244 SF). Gates and roadway for arrival, queueing, inspection, and containment and departure with associated features, such as crash-rated fencing, and passive and active vehicle barriers. Supporting utilities for water, stormwater, sanitary sewer, electrical, communications, and security systems, and demolition of Buildings 601, 602, 602A, as well as existing fencing around the area of the proposed Lot 21. Demolition of Buildings 253 and 279 and associated components shall occur once all other construction is complete and operational.
