Description

The BITI Wireless system is an enterprise capability that provides the United States Air Force (USAF) base area networks (BANs) a single standard transport for wireless systems.� It is an extension of the BITI BAN wired infrastructure system and it connects base wireless clients to the Air Force Network (AFNET)/Non-classified Internet Protocol Network (NIPRNET) via the BITI BAN wired Infrastructure.� These clients connect through the same channels and are restricted to the same policies, as the wired clients.� The system is configuration controlled/Technical Orders (TO)-controlled by the BITI Program Management Office (PMO) and managed USAF-wide by the 83rd Network Operations Squadron (NOS) �The maj-692-3894
