- SPECIAL NOTICE: Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), Ann Arbor VA Healthcare System, 2215 Fuller Road, Ann Arbor, Michigan 48105, is soliciting and intends to award a firm fixed price purchase order for the preventative maintenance of the DSPECT cardiovascular system located at the John D. Dingell VA Medical Center, 4646 John R Street, Detroit, MI 48201. NAICS Code 811219, size standard $22.0 million. The Government intends, in accordance with FAR 6.302.1 (only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements), to negotiate on a sole source basis with Spectrum Dynamics Medical (301 N. Cattlemen Road, Suite 109, Sarasota, FL 34232), for this procurement due to their proprietary rights to perform the preventative maintenance of the DSPECT cardiovascular system. No solicitation package is available. A determination not to compete is solely within the discretion of the Government. Any response to this notice must show clear and convincing evidence that competition would be advantageous to the Government. Responses must be received NLT 12:00pm Eastern on 12/30/2019.
