- ***CURRENT AS OF 23 DEC 2019*** QUESTION/ANSWER (Q&A): Q. Do the scrubs contain any bio-hazard substance, blood or pathogens? A. The possibility for bio hazardous substances, blood and pathogens to be contained within the scrubs sent out for cleaning is always possible. Holloman does not have an�emergency room, but the hospital and dental clinics�perform a lot of dental procedures, lab work and same day procedures that could place these types of substances on scrubs and the contractor would need to treat them accordingly. ***END OF Q&A; no other changes/updates have been made*** This requirement is for laundry services for 49 MDG's medical and dental clinics on Holloman Air Force Base (HAFB), New Mexico (NM).� Items to be laundered include hospital clothes (medical gowns, scrubs, and lab coats) and linens (blankets, pillowcases, sheets, towels, and curtains). Approximately 18,000 pounds of laundry and 154 lab coats are anticipated for cleaning annually and will be priced per pound or per item as indicated on bid sheet.��Award will be an Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract with a ceiling�of�$130,000.00. The Contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, tools, materials, supervision and other items and services necessary to perform laundry service. Multiple site pick-ups are required at�HAFB), NM. Contract shall be performed in a manner that will provide clean laundry in accordance with local, county, state, federal and professional industry standards and as required in the PWS.
