- Description
- The U.S. Army Corps of Engineer (USACE) Portland District intends to solicit firms who are interested in submitting a competitive firm-fixed-price bid for this project. This announcement is for The Dalles Thrust Bearing Oil Coolers. Cross Reference Sources Sought annoucement W9127N20R0018. Project Scope: Fabrication of nine main unit coolers, three station coolers. The work requires reverse engineering and providing drawings of the fabricated coolers. The new coolers must be essentially identical to the existing coolers located at The Dalles Dam. The Government intends to furnish 1 each of the coolers as a reference for reverse engineering purposes. Acquisition Method: The solicitation will be an Invitation for Bid (IFB) with Definitive Responsibility Criteria. This acquisition will result in a single firm-fixed-price contract. Set-Asides and Codes: This solicitation is intended to be a Full and Open competition.� North American Industrial Classification Code (NAICS): 332410 Power Boiler and Heat Exchanger Manufacturing; Size Standard: 750 Employees. PSC: 4420, Heat Exchangers and Steam Condensers. Bid Procedures: The solicitation will be posted on Contract Opportunities via this betaSAM website once the solicitation is issued. Bid Period: The solicitation is scheduled for release on or about 20 Jan 2020. The tentative date for receipt of proposals is on or about 20 Feb 2020. Plans and Specifications: The Plans and Specifications will be posted on Contract Opportunities via this betaSAM website once the solicitation is issued. System for Award Management (SAM): Offerors must register in the SAM at https://www.sam.gov/portal/public/SAM/ prior to submission of bids to be considered for an award.
