- Description
- This Sources Sought Synopsis describes the next generation Microwave Measurement Receiver (MMR). The MMR shall be one component of a Microwave Measurement System (MMS). The MMR shall be a working standard used to measure parameters associated with attenuators and signal generators. The MMR shall be a one-box solution. The one-box solution can be extended to include multiple components bundled into a single rack mount configuration. The MMR shall be capable of measuring absolute RF power using an external power sensor, relative RF power/attenuation, frequency, AM FM and PM modulation parameters, audio distortion, single sideband phase noise, return loss, spurious, non-harmonic and harmonic related signals. The MMR shall be capable of providing a Calibrated RF Reference output and 10 MHz Timebase Reference output. The MMR shall contain the necessary ancillary equipment needed to perform the described microwave measurements at frequency ranges 100kHz to 50GHz and at power level ranges +30 dBm to ?140 dBm. The MMR shall be configurable to three configurations of 100kHz to 18.0 GHz using an N-Type connector, 100kHz to 26.5 GHz using a 3.5mm connector and 100kHz to 50.0 GHz using a 2.4mm connector. All functions of the MMR shall be capable of being remotely accessed via an IEEE 488 interface bus and an external controller. This Sources Sought Synopsis describes the next generation Microwave Measurement Receiver (MMR). The MMR shall be one component of a PATEC Microwave Measurement System. The MMR shall be a working standard used to measure RF frequency, absolute CW power, using external power sensors; and attenuation, relative CW power, and AM, FM, and PM modulation, audio distortion, single sideband phase noise, return loss, spurious, non-harmonic and harmonic related signals. The MMR shall be capable of providing a Calibrated RF Reference output and 10 MHz Timebase Reference output. The MMR shall contain the necessary ancillary equipment needed to perform the described microwave measurements at frequency ranges 100kHz to 26.5 GHz and at power level ranges +30 dBm to ?140 dBm. The MMR shall use a 3.5mm connector for all RF measurements not performed by the power sensors. All functions of the MMR shall be capable of being remotely accessed via an IEEE- 488 General Purpose Interface Bus and an external controller.
