Description
Special Notice: Industry Day Announcement and Draft Request For Proposals (DRFP) The purpose of this posting is to provide a Draft Request For Proposals (DRFP) to industry for the SUAS Engineering IDIQ requirement and facilitate an Industry Day. DRAFT REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL. The intent of this is to solicit input from Industry regarding: 1) Acquisition / Evaluation Approach 2) The technical requirement Input received will be reviewed and considered while finalizing the RFP. THIS IS ONLY A DRAFT, WE ARE NOT CURRENTLY SOLICITING PROPOSALS. Questions regarding this Draft RFP are due by 4:00 EST 7 January 2020.� Questions will only be accepted as written in an email to the Contract Specialist, Ms. Naomi Quinn at naomi.m.quinn.civ@mail.mil and Ms. Jennifer Lesco at jennifer.m.lesco.civ@mail.mil.� �The Government will respond to questions using an amendment to this Special Notice. Questions will not be answered if submitted after this date, unless they are received during the Industry Day. Following the end of this posting, the Government is looking for the following as a response. There are no page limitations to submissions. Submissions will be reviewed as part of our Market Research and planning process. Below are the areas of focus the Government is looking for feedback from Industry. 1) Submission of recommendations regarding the Submission of Proposals. Include the section and page number. 2) Submission of recommendations regarding the Evaluation of Proposals. Include the section and page number. 3) Submission of comments regarding Technical sections. Include the attachment reference, the section, and the page number. 4) Other: Offerors may submit any relevant documentation. Do Not Submit any proprietary information. 5)� Please use the attached format titled ""Industry Day Input�Sheet"" for all submissions. INDUSTRY DAY Industry Day will take place on 14-15 January 2020 at 8:00 am (CST) at Iron Mountain Solutions, 300 Voyager Way, Suite 100, Huntsville, AL 35806.� �Break-out Sessions are contemplated. Should you wish to schedule a breakout session, please request when you submit your request to attend. � Requests to attend should be sent to: Michele Biletski michele.s.biletski.ctr@mail.mil 256-313-3791 Interested Parties wishing to attend Industry Day shall coordinate with Michele Biletski,�michele.s.biletski.ctr@mail.mil or 256-313-3791.� Please provide the following information in the attached spreadsheet titled ""Industry Day Info Sheet."" The information within that document is required to attend. Visit Access Requests MUST be submitted: SMO Code: W0H9AA4RB (NOTE:� 2ND Digit is a Zero) Dates: 14-15 January 2020 POC: Michele Biletski POC Phone: 256-313-3791 Requests to attend must be submitted no later than 4:00 pm (EST), Friday, 6 January 2020. Late requests for attendance will be addressed on a case by case basis and are subject to availability. Please limit the number of attendees to no more than (3) three.� Questions received during industry day will be collected and posted with responses to this notice. Charts used will be posted�following the Industry Day Event to allow for those who could not attend to receive the information. Breakout Sessions. Breakout sessions are limited to 50 minutes per session. 15 minutes will be allotted to feedback on the Draft RFP and the acquisition approach, 20 minutes will be allotted feedback on the technical requirement, and 15 minutes are reserved for vendors to present any other information and ask questions. Questions will not be answered during the breakout sessions, but will be collected and posted.
