- RESPONSES TO THIS NOTICE ARE DUE BY 3:00:00 PM Eastern, WHICH SUPERSEDES THE 11:59pm EASTERN RESPONSE TIME SHOWN IN THE GENERAL INFORMATION SECTION ABOVE. As a reminder, the response time identified in the Solicitation Instruction to offerors is the final authority of when responses are due. _____________________________________________________________________ The naval Information Warfare Center (NIWC) Atlantic, Charleston, SC Code 22120 intends to award a firm firmed price Purchase Order on a sole source basis to Connective Design Inc. (CDI), 3010 S. Tech Blvd Miamisburg OH 45342-4860 to provide ""I"" Cables and ""Y"" Cables. Delivery Requirements: 90 Days After Receipt of Award This action is conducted under the authority of FAR PART 13.106(b)(1)(i), soliciting from a single source under the Simplified Acquisition Threshold. Historical award information has shown that CDI is the only company which manufactures these cables with no other company responding to previous attempts by the Government for full and open competition. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code to this acquisition is 334417. An offeror is solely responsible for all expenses associated with responding to this RFQ. Interested firms may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement. This synopsis is posted for information purposes only and is not a request for competitive proposals. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed Purchase Order based upon responses to this synopsis is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for determining whether to cancel this solicitation and solicit as a competitive procurement.
