- INTENT TO SOLE SOURCE The Department of Veterans Affairs, SAO Central, Network Contracting Office 10, intends to enter into a Sole Source Procurement for Dialysis Supplies for the John D. Dingell VA Medical Center, 4646 John R Street, Detroit, MI 48201-1916. In accordance with FAR 13.106-1(b)(2) Soliciting from a Single Source, the Department of Veterans Affairs Intends to award a Firm-Fixed Price Purchase Order on a Sole Source Basis with the following Vendor: Veteran s Healthcare Supply Solutions, Inc. 13949 Alvarez Road, Suite 300 Jacksonville, FL 32218 This will be for furnishing the facility with Fresenius Dialysis Supplies and is considered a BRAND NAME Procurement for the following supplies: 400 Cases, Kit, Hemodialsis, Prepump Inf, Combiset, Bloodlines (MPN): 6515-01-001-0002 500 Cases, Filter, Dialyzer, Hi, Flux, Polysulfone, Optiflux, 180 DNR, STER (MPN): 6515-01-367-0230 290 Cases, Dialyzer, Hemodialysis, Fresenus, Optiflux, F 250 N R Polysulfone (MPN): 055325e The period of performance will be from January 06, 2020 through September 30, 2020 with Product Deliveries occurring per the Delivery Schedule. The Associated North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 334510 1,250 and the Business Size Standard is 1,250 employees. The Sole Source Rationale is based on the Government s belief that these dialysis kits and supplies are manufactured and distributed solely by Fresenius Medical Care Holding, Inc. and are the only supplies that are compatible with the Fresenius equipment currently being utilized at the John D. Dingell VA Medical Center. This Notice of Intent is not a Solicitation or Request for Competitive Quotes or Offers. No solicitation package is available. A determination not to compete this requirement is solely within the discretion of the Federal Government. Any response to this notice must show clear and convincing evidence that competition would be advantageous to the Government. Supporting evidence must be furnished in detail to demonstrate the ability to meet the subject requirement. This information shall be provided at no cost or obligation to the Federal Government. Responses must be received no later than 8:00 AM, Eastern Daylight Time, January 10, 2020. All responses shall be submitted to Michele R.
