Description: This is a notice of intent to sole-source repairs for the MV William James to BIg River Shipbuilders located in Vicksburg, MS. Description of work: The M/V William James requires dry docking to perform maintenance and to inspect underwater components in preparation for the 2020 mat sinking season. Since the vessel will be located in Vicksburg it�has been �determined to be in the best interest of the government to avoid unnecessary costs (crew, fuel, ect.)�for� transporting the vessel outside of the immediate vicinity of the Vicksburg Harbor.
