- The US Fish and Wildlife Service (FWS), National Conservation Training Center (NCTC) in Shepherdstown, WV intends to award a purchase order to John Wiley & Sons of Hoboken, NJ for online access to the 2020 Core Collection consisting of 35 Scientific Journals. The journal titles are Animal Conservation; Aquaculture Nutrition; Conservation Biology; Ecological Applications; Ecological Management & Restoration; Ecological Monographs; Ecology; Ecology of Freshwater Fish; Environmental Toxicology & Chemistry; Fisheries; Frontiers in Ecology & Environment; Geophysical Research Letters; Global Change Biology; Ibis; Integrated Environmental Assessment and Management; Journal of Animal Ecology; Journal of Applied Ecology; Journal of Applied Ichthyology; Journal of Aquatic Animal Health; Journal of Avian Biology; Journal of Field Ornithology; Journal of Fish Biology; Journal of the American Water Resources Association; Marine Mammal Science; Molecular Ecology; Molecular Ecology Resources; North American Journal of Aquaculture; North American Journal of Fisheries Management; Oikos; Restoration Ecology; River Research and Applications; The Journal of Wildlife Management; Transactions of the American Fisheries Society ; Wildlife Monographs; and Wildlife Society Bulletin (Electronic). The period of performance for the proposed contract is for one year, 01/01/2020 to 12/31/2020. The proposed contract is for supplies and services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b). Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. However, all proposals received within fifteen days after date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract based upon responses with this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. This Special Notice ends 1/27/2020 at 11:59 PM ET.
