- THIS IS A REQUEST FOR INFORMATION PURPOSE ONLY. This is not a request for quotes/proposals and no contract will be awarded from this notice. The Marine Corps Installations Pacific (MCIPAC), Marine Corps Regional Contracting Office (RCO), Okinawa, Japan is seeking sources for the purpose of solicitation and ultimately the acquisition of Family Housing Furniture Moving Services in support of Military Family Housing Branch, located at Marine Corps Air Station Iwakuni (MCAS-Iwakuni), Iwakuni, Yamaguchi-prefecture, Japan. The Government requires a Contractor to transport and deliver Government-owned furnishings and appliances to and from on or off base quarters. The Period of Performance of this Contract is for one year with four (4) one-year option periods (Projected from 01 August 2020 to 31 July 2021 plus 4 option periods). If any vendors have interest in this requirement, please respond due by 21 Jan 2020, 16:00 (Japanese Standard Time). Both e-mail and fax submittals will be accepted. Please send e-mail responses to Contract Specialist, Manabu Mitomi/Contract Specialist at manabu.mitomi.ja@usmc.mil. Each vendor�s response should be yes or no basis representing your intent in this requirement or not. A List of Government-Owned Furniture and Equipment and the Performance Work Statement (PWS) will be posted at the time of the solicitation issued. NOTE: This Request for Information is for planning purposes only and is issued in accordance with FAR Clause 52.215-3. No solicitation document exists at this time. Issuance of this notice does not constitute any obligation on the part of the Government to procure these items or to issue a solicitation. In addition, the Government is under no obligation to pay for information submitted in response to this RFI, and responses to this notice cannot be accepted as offers. Any information that the vendor considers proprietary should be clearly marked as such.
