- Pre-Solicitation Notice 36C252-20-B-0009 Project: Steam Repairs Project Number: 537-20-137 Location: Jesse Brown VA Medical Center in Chicago, Illinois The Jesse Brown VA Medical Center has a requirement to make repairs to the heat exchangers loops in designated areas of Jesse Brown VA Medical Center. Contractor shall provide all tools, materials, labor, equipment, supplies, and qualified field supervision in accordance with the SOW to complete Project # 537-20-137: Steam Repairs at the Jesse Brown VA Medical Center located at 820 S. Damen Ave, Chicago, IL 60612. This project will include removing and replacing insulation for: hydronic supply and return lines and fittings; steam and condensate lines and fittings; heat exchanger units and fitting; condensate/vacuum unit and fittings; expansion tanks and all other component of the systems detailed in the SOW that will be provided with solicitation. The project magnitude price range is between $25,000 and $100,000. The North American Industry Classification Code (NAICS) for this procurement is 238220, Plumbing, Heating, and Air-Conditioning Contractors, with a size standard of $16.5 Million. The project is scheduled to have a period of performance of eighty-six (86) calendar days for the base bid after the Notice to Proceed is issued by the Contracting Officer. The solicitation (including any/all drawing and specifications) is scheduled be posted to Beta Sam (https://www.beta.Sam.gov/) on or about November 26, 2019. The bid opening is approximately scheduled for January 07, 2020. A pre-bid conference/site walk-through will be conducted for this project and the time and date will be announced in the solicitation. All prospective bidders are strongly encouraged to attend.
