- N00164-20-Q-JQ68 � CREW SERVE WEAPON OPTIC � FSC 1240 - NAICS 333314 ISSUE DATE 13 JAN 2020 � CLOSING DATE 14 FEB 2020 � 2:00 PM Eastern Time Naval Surface Warfare Center (NSWC) Crane has a requirement for Crew Served Weapons (CSW) Optic for currently fielded Mounted Machine Guns (MMG). Currently fielded MMG include The M2A1 (.50 caliber Machine Gun (MG)), M240 (7.62mm MG) and MK44 (7.62mm with six rotary mounted barrels firing 3000 rounds per minute). A CSW optic is necessary to allow an operator to quickly bear his CSW on target, identify, classify, and initially engage out to the performance of the host weapon platform. The associated North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 333314, Optical Instrument and Lens Manufacturing has a small business size standard of 500 employees. The Navy intends to solicit and negotiate this contract on a full and open competition after exclusion of sources IAW FAR 6.2. It is anticipated this requirement will be set aside for Small Business concerns. The Government anticipates awarding one (1) Firm Fixed Price (FFP) five (5) year Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract. Delivery terms required are FOB Destination, with Inspection and Acceptance at Destination. The anticipated award date is 31 August 2020. Contractors must be properly registered in the System for Award Management (SAM).
