- Description
- This Solicitation, W52P1J-19-R-0075, is posted under Full and Open Competition, for the procurement of Trinitrotoluene (TNT) in flake form in accordance with MIL-DTL-248D, using a Lowest Price Technically Acceptable evaluation approach in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 15.101-2. � The applicable NAICS code is 325920, Explosives Manufacturing, with a size standard of 750 employees. The Government intends to award up to three Firm Fixed Price (FFP), Indefinite-Delivery Indefinite-Quantity (IDIQ) contracts. A total minimum guaranteed quantity of 3,000,000 pounds of TNT (to be split equally between all awardees); however, the Government reserves the right to award less than three awards. Each contract will consist of five Ordering Periods to award FY20-FY25 requirements. Contractors must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) database prior to award, during performance, and through final payment of any contract resulting from this RFP. Contractors may obtain information on SAM registration by visiting: https://www.acquisition.gov. Please see attached Solicitation and Attachments. The closing date and time for receipt of quotes is as follows: Closing Date: Wednesday, January 8, 2020 Closing Time: 4:00PM CT NOTE: This solicitation, and any future amendments, will be issued electronically. Because of this, the Government is under no obligation and is in fact unable to maintain an Offerors' mailing list. It is therefore incumbent upon any interested parties to periodically access the solicitation listing on beta.sam.gov in order to obtain any amendments which may be issued. Failure to obtain any said amendments and to respond to them prior to the date and time set for receipt of proposals may render your proposal nonresponsive and result in rejection of the proposal. Amendement 0002 has been executed as of 13 December 2019 to make numerous changes and answer questions received from Industry.� The amendment has been uploaded to the attachments along with Attachment 0012.� The closing date of this RFP is hereby extended to 27 Feb 2020 at 4:00PM CT.� Please note that due to technical issues there will not be an Amendment 0001. Amendment 0003 has been executed as of 08 January 2020 to make administrative changes and answer questions receieved from Industry.� The RFP closing date remains unchanged.� Amendment 0004 has been executed as of 13 January 2020 to answer questions from industry.� The RFP closing date remains unchanged.�
