- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; offers are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued.� The solicitation number is CT2282-20 and this solicitation is issued as a Request for Proposals (RFP). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2020-02.� The 2012 North American Industry Classification System code is 339993, Fastener, Button, Needle, and Pin Manufacturing which includes eyelets, metal, manufacturing.� This requirement is unrestricted.� UNICOR, Federal Prison Industries, Inc., intends to enter into a three-year base period, firm-fixed-price Requirements type contract with EPA for the following commercial items: Various metal fasteners (snaps) and machine lease to be used in the manufacture of cold weather trousers and jackets, outer tactical vests, canteen covers, MOLLE IIs, and utility coveralls for the military.
