- THIS SOURCES SOUGHT/REQUEST FOR INFORMATION IS ISSUED FOR INFORMATION AND PLANNING PURPOSES ONLY AND IS NOT CONSIDERED A SOLICITATION. THE PURPOSE OF THIS SOURCE SOUGHT/RFI IS TO GAIN KNOWLEDGE OF POTENTIAL BUSINESSES THAT ARE CAPABLE OF COMPLETING THE FOLLOWING: Statement of Work 1. Background/Requirements: The VAMC located in Boston, MA, West Roxbury, MA and Brockton, MA require preventative maintenance on warehouse forklifts and jacks four (4) times per year (every 90 days). Those normal business hours are 8am 4p, Monday through Friday. 2. Period of Performance: The period of performance is one base year and four option years. The base year will have a Period of Performance (POP) of 29 February 2020 - 28 February 2021. Option one will have a POP of 1 March 2021 - 28 February 2022. Option two will have a POP of 1 March 2022 - 28 February 2023. Option three will have a POP of 1 March 2023 - 29 February 2024. Option four will have a POP of 1 March 2024 - 28 February 2025. 3. Place of Performance: The preventative maintenance for the forklifts and jacks will take place at the following three locations: VA Boston 150 South Huntington Avenue Boston, MA 02130 VA West Roxbury 1400 VFW Parkway Building 7 West Roxbury, MA VA Brockton 940 Belmont Street Building 20 Brockton, MA 02301 Responses to this sources sought will be used by the Government to make appropriate acquisition decisions. After review of the responses to this sources sought, a solicitation announcement may be published. Responses to this sources sought synopsis are not considered adequate responses for a solicitation announcement. Responses to this sources sought/RFI are due by 17 January 2020 at 9 am EST time. Responses to this notice shall be submitted via email to issa.shawki@va.gov. Telephone responses shall not be accepted. If a solicitation is issued, it shall be announced at a later date. All interested parties must respond to that solicitation announcement separately from the responses to this request for information. Responses to this notice are not a request to be added to a prospective bidders list or to receive a copy of the solicitation. The NAICS code for this requirement is 811310 and a small size standard of $8 million.
