- 36C24920Q0073 - NOTICE OF INTENT TO SOLE SOURCE AVANOS COOL RF GENERATOR/ABLATION SYSTEM 2 | Page **THIS NOTICE IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTES** This procurement is being conducted in accordance with (IAW) 41 USC 3304(a)(1) and FAR 6.302-1, Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies Will Satisfy Agency Requirements. The NAICS code is 334510 with a size standard of 1250 employees. The Department of Veterans Affair s NCO-9, intends to issue a sole-source firm-fixed priced purchase order to Avanos Pain Management, a large business registered in SAM.gov for the procurement of the following equipment, supplies, and services to bring RF Ablation treatment service (both thermal and cooled) in-house to Memphis VA Medical Center located at 1030 Jefferson Avenue, Memphis, TN 38104. No options for additional quantities were considered. OTHER CONSIDERATIONS: Equipment or products must be new not refurbished or grey market. No actual design or construction work will be performed. This notice is to confirm the non-availability of potential small businesses capable of meeting the previously-described requirement. If no responses are received from potentially responsible sources, Facility and its supporting contracting office NCO-9 - under FAR part 19.501(b) will have completed its due diligence regarding setting this procurement aside for small businesses and will proceed with procuring this requirement on a sole source or unrestricted basis. RESPONSE CONSIDERATIONS: All information submitted is subject to verification. Additional information may be requested to substantiate responses. A determination not to compete the proposed procurement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
