- Description
- The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Galveston District requires construction to�rehabilitate Clodine Ditch Station 72+50 to Station 91+00 as it runs along Barker Dam. Sections of slope have failed and need to be repaired and lined similar to other sections of the ditch with articulated concrete mat. Several back slope drains have failed and need repair/replacement. 1.� The solicitation is advertised as Small Business HUBZONE Set Aside. The North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) Code applicable to this project is 237990. The Small Business Size Standard is $36.5 Million.� As set forth in Sec. 125.6(c), one or more qualified HUBZone SBCs must spend at least 50 percent of the cost of the contract incurred for personnel on its own employees or employees of other qualified HUBZone SBCs (see CFR Part 126 HUBZONE PROGRAM SUBPART G CONTRACT PERFORMANCE REQUIREMENTS) . 2.���� The Contractor will be required to provide the Performance and Payment Bonds within 5 calendar day after award. The contractor shall begin work within 10 calendar days after acknowledgement of the Notice to Proceed. The Solicitation will be issued as Firm Fixed Price. The magnitude of this project is $1,000,000 and $5,000, 000. The solicitation will be issued on or about 31 January 2020.� Response date is�3 March 2020 @ 2:00 PM (CST).
