The Government proposes to acquire, on a Firm-fixed Price contract, a quantity of 23 each of a PISTON, LANDING GEAR; NSN: 1620-01-335-2694; P/N: 414L1010-2 applicable to the BK CH-47 (Chinook) weapon system. Production Lead Time without First Article Testing is 23 each, 180 Days after Contract Award (DACA) with incremental deliveries to NEW CUMBERLAND, PA. 17070-5002 to commence no later than 09/25/2020. This item is restricted to Boeing Co., CAGE CODE: 77272. This item will be acquired for the first time, directly from the manufacturer. The Government does not have adequate data, lacks rights to data, or both. It is not economical to buy the data or rights to the data. Only the source indicated has access to the technical data to manufacture this part. This part must be acquired from a manufacturing source (s) specified on a source control or selected item drawing as defined by the current version of DoD-STD-100. All offerors must meet prequalification requirements in order to be eligible for award. Firms that recognize and can produce the required item described above are encouraged to identify themselves. Contractors are encouraged to seek source approval in order to compete for future solicitations by emailing inquiries to: usarmy.redstone.ccdc-avmc.mbx.ame-sar@mail.mil. All responsible sources may submit an offer, which shall be considered by the Agency. The closing date annotated is an estimated date and may be adjusted dependent upon the date of release for solicitation; however, the solicitation will not close prior to the date stated above.
