Sole Source Justification NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD A SOLE SOURCE This�Notice of Intent is not a request for competitive proposals. This is not solicitation�or request for offers. No solicitation package is available and�telephone requests will not be honored. Only one responsible source and no�other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. Supvisory of Ship Building (SUPSHIP) intends to award a Firm Fixed Price sole source award to The American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME). This purchase will be made�utilizing Simplified Acquisition Procedures in accordance with: Federal Regulation (FAR) Part 12.103 for purchases not exceeding the simplified acquisition�threshold of $250,000. The North American Classification System Code (NAICS) is 611430-Professional and Management Development Training; the size standard is $12 millions of dollars. Interested parties may identify their interests and capability to respond to this requirement by January 22, 2020�at 12PM (EST). Any�response to this notice must show clear and convincing evidence, that�competition would be advantageous to the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether or not to�conduct a competitive procurement. The determination not to compete this�proposed contract action is solely within the discretion of the Government. The Government will not be responsible for any costs incurred by responding to this notice.�
