Description

NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD SOLE SOURCE: �The Army Contracting Command Redstone Arsenal (ACC-RSA) intends to award a sole source contract to Lockheed Martin Corporation (LM), 5600 W. Sand Lake Rd. MP-265, Orlando, FL 32819-8907, CAGE Code 04939 for the acquisition of AH-64 Apache Modernized Target Acquisition Designation Sight/Pilot Night Vision Sensor (MTADS/PNVS) Performance Based Logistics (PBL).� This contract will provide non-personal services and logistics support for the MTADS/PNVS system.� This service is restricted to LM because this system is a proprietary system developed by LM.� The Government does not possess the technical data package (TDP).� The Government intends to award a one year base contract with four one-year options.� The Statutory Authority permitting Other than Full and Open Competition for this action is 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1), as implemented by Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 6.302-1(a)(2)(iii) entitled �Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services will Satisfy Agency Requirements.�� The Sole Source solicitation, W58RGZ-19-R-0253, will be released on or about (O/A) February 28, 2020 and close O/A June 30, 2020.� The solicitation release and closing dates are estimated and may be adjusted, however, the solicitation will not close prior to the date stated above.� This synopsis is for notification purposes only and does not constitute a solicitation for bids, quotes, or proposals. �The Government does not intend to pay for any information provided under this notice. �All responsible sources may submit a capability statement, proposal, or quotation, which shall be considered by the agency.� This synopsis shall not bind the Government and is for informational purposes only.� For questions regarding this synopsis, email Susan Bryan at susan.m.bryan.civ@mail.mil.� Phone calls will not be accepted.
