- Description
- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. �This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested, and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation will be competed as a 100% Small Business Set-Aside. �The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2019-01. The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE), Engineer Research and Development Center (ERDC), Geotechnical & Structures Laboratory at Vicksburg, MS has a requirement for the following: To provide and maintain the required ASTM validation and provide calibration services for all required lab equipment in the lab areas of concrete, aggregate, cement and pozzolan, soil, and asphalt, according to ASTM, R18, and all instruments listed in Attachment 1 to ISO 17025 standards is required over the next five years on a regular and recurring basis as indicated. Additionally, the ability for the contractor to respond within 24 hours to any immediate need is required. Potential vendors may access the following attachments below: Attachment 01 (Description of Requirement) Attachment 02 (Quote Submission Form) Delivery will be FOB Destination to the following location: Engineer Research and Development Center GSL-CMB, Concrete and Materials Branch 3909 Halls Ferry Road Vicksburg, MS 39180 The North American Industry Classification System Code for this procurement is�811219 (Other Electronic and Precision Equipment Repair Maintenance)�with a small business size standard of�20.5 million�employees.� In accordance with the attached Description of Requirement (Attachment 01), an award for this acquisition will be provided to the vendor whose quote is the Lowest Priced of those determined to be Technically Qualified.�� FAR 52.212-2 - Evaluation -- Commercial Items (Jan 1999) (a) The Government will award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible offeror whose offer conforming to the solicitation will be most advantageous to the Government, price and other factors considered. The following factors shall be used to evaluate offers: 1)� Technical - Providing information that the items proposed meet the specifications as defined in Attachment 01 2)� Price The vendor must submit the following so the Government can evaluate the offeror�s technical acceptability: �1)� Sufficient information to determine that the items proposed meet the specifications as defined in Attachment 01 2) �Must include a completed Quote Submission Form (Attachment 02). �The full text of a FAR provision or clause may be accessed electronically at www.farsite.hill.af.mil.
