- DESCRIPTION OF WORK:� The work consists of furnishing all plant, labor, materials and equipment for removing the existing concrete toe ditch with headwalls and reinforced concrete pipe, installing the new relief wells, demolishing the existing relief wells, and constructing the new concrete toe ditch with headwalls and reinforced concrete pipe.� Principal features of the work include mobilization and demobilization, concrete removal, demolition, excavation and backfill, control of water, concrete placement, grouted riprap placement, placement of graded stone, engineering fabric, installation of relief wells, erosion control, storm water pollution prevention, and environmental protection. PRE-BID CONFERENCE WILL BE HELD ON-SITE AT THE USACE FIELD OFFICE AT ARKABUTLA LAKE ON 14 JANUARY 2020 AT 10:30 AM, WITH A SITE VISIT TO FOLLOW. COORDINATES FOR THE FIELD OFIICE ARE 34�46'47.87""N 90� 6'55.47""W.
