Description
The 42d Contracting Squadron, Maxwell AFB, AL, is seeking sources that can provide a Comprehensive Interior Design Solution with Furniture Delivery & Installation that meets the requirements of the attached �draft� Statement of Objectives (SOO) to support the needs of the Air University eSchool physically located at Building 678, Maxwell AFB. The government is anticipating a two-step acquisition strategy. The first step will consist of the comprehensive interior design accompanied by oral presentations. The second step will be based solely on price for those acceptable designs. �All feedback and information received may be used to determine the appropriate acquisition strategy. NOTES OF IMPORTANCE: 1.�� �A solicitation does not exist for this requirement. �This is only a sources sought synopsis, so please do not submit proposals. �The Government does not intend to award a contract on the basis of this sources sought. 2.�� �If the Government decides to pursue a solicitation, portions of your responses to this sources sought may be incorporated into the final solicitation. �Respondents are discouraged from submitting any information deemed competition-sensitive or proprietary. 3.�� �Respondents will not be reimbursed for any costs incurred in responding to this sources sought. �Information submitted will not be returned to the respective respondents. 4.�� �Oral submissions of information will not be considered in response to this sources sought. To assist the Government in developing a potential acquisition strategy, please provide the following information: 1.�� �GENERAL INFORMATON: a.�� �Company name, address, point of contact, voice and fax telephone numbers and e-mail address. b.�� �Type of business, (i.e., small, �8a, woman-owned, Hub Zone, serviced-disabled veteran-owned small business, large business, etc.), under North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) 541410, which contains a size standard of $8,000,000. CAGE Code and DUNS Number. c.�� �Under which NAICS code does your company usually provide the requirements described in the attached SOR. �Please provide rationale for your answer if different from NAICS 541410. d.�� �Please describe any customary commercial contract terms or conditions that you feel would make any resulting contract more effective if applicable. 2.�� �CAPABILITIES: �The Government is seeking qualified, experienced sources interested in meeting the requirements of the attached draft SOO. �Please address the following regarding your capabilities in meeting the requirements contained in the attached �draft� SOO: a.�� �Is your company capable of meeting this requirement in accordance with the attached �draft� Statement of Objectives (SOO)? b.�� �Does your company have the capability of providing a designer to develop a Comprehensive Interior Design Solution that meets the objectives identified in the attached SOO? � c.�� �Does your company also have the capability to provide the manufacture, delivery and installation of executive, faculty, and modular systems furniture as described in the attached SOO? d.�� �Please provide a listing of furniture manufacturers or lines of furniture available through your company. e.�� �What previous procurements have you completed which are similar in scope and magnitude? �If available, would you be able to provide the final solution(s), pictures, drawings, etc. for the previous procurements?. f.�� �What is your typical project lead time for furniture installation of similar scope and magnitude of the attached SOO? g.�� �Would a representative from your company be able to attend a site-visit, as contemplated in a forthcoming solicitation on Maxwell AFB? h.�� �The Government is seeking your feedback on the attached SOO. �Specifically, are there areas in the SOO that need clarification or additional information to assist an offeror in creating a design, with funishings and installation? 3.�� �RESPONSES: �E-mail responses to this sources sought to the points of contact identifed below. �The due date and time for responses to this sources sought is at 12:00 p.m. Central Standard Time on 3 February 2020.
