- The U. S. Geological Survey, MD/DE/DC Water Science Center has a requirement to add additional length of casing, and provide suitable cap to ensure surface water no longer enters the well, clean and disinfect the well bore, purge the well to remove scale, and install a submersible pump, discharge tube, and electrical lines., power wash, seal cracks in stucco, paint stucco and all exterior doors, frames and seal stone areas. Project is located at the back corner of the Washington DC Aquatic Education Center, 1900 Anacostia Drive Washington D.C. (38.878281N, 76.969424 W). The. The project shall be completed within 90 days after notice to proceed is issued. There are no option periods. The magnitude of construction is between $25,000 and $100,000 Request for Quote (RFQ) 140G0120Q0016 will be issued on or about 11/18/2019 with written quotes due on or about 12/03/2019. A site visit will be held. A minimum of 24 hours advance notice MUST be given Timothy Wilson 609.481.8553 or tpwilson@usgs.gov for attendees of the site visit. The date, time, and contact info for the site visit can be found in Section L in the Request for Quote (RFQ). CONTRACTORS ARE STRONGLY ENCOURAGED TO ATTEND THE SITE VISIT. This acquisition is total small business set-a-side. The NAICS code is 237110. The size standard is $36.5 million. The anticipated award date of the contract is 12/16/2019. A vendor must be registered at https://www.sam.gov/index.html to be awarded the contract. All responsible sources may submit a bid or quotation which shall be considered by the agency.
