Description

SOLICITATION NOTICE Requirement: Services for 1,808 acres of planting 1-0 containerized seedlings, and 1,085 acres (and 723 optional acres) of hand-release in 66 units planted in this requirement.� The Contractor shall furnish all labor, equipment, supervision, transportation, supplies, except those designated as Government-furnished, and incidentals to perform all work on national forest land administered by the Happy Camp Ranger District in the Klamath National Forest Contract Time: It is estimated the project will start in early March 2020 for planting with a period of performance of 60 calendar days.� An estimated start date of early March 2021 for release with a period of performance of 60 calendar days for base acres and an additional 30 days for option acres. Set Asides: This procurement is being solicited as a small business set-aside. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 115310. The related small business size standard is $20.5M. Solicitation Info: Solicitation is being conducted under FAR Part 12. All responsible sources may submit a quote, which shall be considered. Site Visit: An organized site visit is scheduled for Wednesday February 12, 2020 at 9:00 a.m. at the Happy Camp Ranger District, 63822 Highway 96, Happy Camp California Inquiries: Any prospective quoter with contractual and technical questions of the solicitation, drawings, specifications, etc., must be submitted in writing via email to tracy.marino@usda.gov. No telephone questions will be accepted. It is recommended that they be submitted no later than 5 calendar days prior to the closing date of the solicitation to all a reply to reach all prospective Quoters before the solicitation closing date. Questions received after that time may not receive a response. Oral explanations or instructions given before the award of a contract will not be binding. Notifications: In accordance with FAR 5.102(d), the government is limiting the availability of the solicitation to electronic medium through this posting on beta.sam.gov. Notification of any postponements and any amendments to this solicitation will be posted on this website. It is the sole responsibility of the quoter to continually view this website for any amendments made to this solicitation.� Award notifications will be made to this notice. Early notification will not be made to any quoter except Awarded Contractor.
