- THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT ANNOUNCEMENT ONLY - Solicitations are not available at this time. This notice does not constitute a commitment by the Government. The Bureau of Prisons has a future requirement for Landfill Trash Disposal Services for inmates at the Federal Correctional Institution (FCI) located at 8500 Doniphan Drive, Anthony, Texas 79821. �The NAICS Code is 562212. �Landfill Trash Disposal Services will be provided by the contractor for FCI La Tuna.� The contractor will ensure that the landfill/disposal site is made available to the Government for landfill/disposal of solid waste (compacted and non-�compacted) Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., excluding State and Federal Holidays. The Government will make several trips to the landfill site and the Government will be responsible for transporting the solid waste.� The landfill/disposal site shall be within a 60 mile radius round trip (30 miles each way) of the above FCI physical location.� Contractor shall provide service to FCI La Tuna with all labor, services, supervision to collect at its landfill/disposal station, and dispose of solid waste, trash, or refuse to a ""TYPE I DISPOSAL FACILITY"" approved by the Texas Department of Health or the New Mexico Department of Health, in accordance with all Federal, State, and local codes and regulations, and must meet all EPA requirements and standards. The estimated cubic yards is 500 in solid waste per month will be delivered to the contractor from the government. With this, will bring the total to 6,000 cubic yards of solid waste per year.� This is an estimate only, the government does not guarantee these estimates.� See the attached Statement of Work for more details. The Government contemplates awarding a requirements-type contract with firm-fixed unit prices resulting from the forthcoming solicitation. �The contract period shall consist of a base year and four (4) 12-month option years. �A Government solicitation document to provide these services is being developed, and a contract may or may not result. �Market research is being conducted to determine interest and capability of potential sources for this requirement. �All information submitted in response to this announcement is voluntary the Government will not pay for information requested nor will it compensate any respondent for any cost incurred in developing information provided to the Government. �The Market Survey Questionnaire will be available on or about February 3, 2020, and will be distributed solely through Federal Business Opportunities (FedBizOpps). �All future information about this acquisition, including solicitation and/or amendments, will be distributed solely through this site. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring this site to ensure that they have the most up-to-date information regarding this acquisition. �Faith-Based and Community-Based Organizations can submit offers/quotes equally with other organizations for contracts for which they are eligible. The response date for the market survey is February 24, 2020. �No collect calls will be accepted. �No telephone request or written requests for the market survey will be accepted. �All responses to the Market Survey Questionnaire should be submitted via email at ldthomas@bop.gov, Attn: LaShundra Thomas, Contracting Officer. �Please note: All contractors doing business with the Federal Government must be registered in the System For Award Management (SAM) database.
