Description

I. OVERVIEW: The Department of Veterans Affairs, Network Contracting Office (NCO) 15, has a requirement for ADA Handrails at the VA St. Louis Health Care System at the St. Louis, MO VAMC. It is anticipated that the successful proposer must be able to: Provide Handrails and Hardware in the connecting corridor to match current facility style. -LABOR TO INCLUDE: N/A II. VETERANS FIRST CONTRACTING PROGRAM: Please submit your response (capability statement) in accordance with the following: No more than 5 pages (excluding transmittal page). Include the name, email address and phone number of the appropriate representative of your company; Address if your firm has the capability to supply the Handrails and Hardware; Indicate whether your company, subcontractors, teaming partners, joint ventures have a Federal Socio-Economic status, e.g., Small Business, Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business, Veteran Owned Small Business, Woman-Owned Small Business, Disadvantaged Small Business and/or Hub Zone; If Service-Disabled or Veteran Owned Small Business, is your company and/or partners registered in VA s VetBiz repository; Mark your response as Proprietary Information if the information is considered business sensitive; The subject line should read ADA HANDRAILS ; NO MARKETING MATERIALS ARE ALLOWED IN RESPONSE TO THIS SS. The Government will not review any information or attachments included, that are in excess of the 5-page limitation. Submit your response by Friday, February 14, 2020, 1:00 PM Central Time. STATEMENT OF WORK (SOW) SCOPE: The Department of Veterans Affairs Jefferson Barracks in St. Louis, MO requires the adding ADA Handrails from Building 51 to Building 23 in the connecting corridors. This will be adding approximately 1600 linear feet of handrails and crash rail wall guards. We currently do not have these handrails installed. This installation, to be completed by the VA, is in accordance with instructions per the Safety Officer of the Jefferson Barracks Medical Center. The contractor shall furnish handrails and attaching hardware to match current facility style. The St. Louis Veterans Affairs will be installing vendor supplied handrails and crash rail wall guards and all hardware.
