Description
The United States Air Force through Air Force Sustainment Center (AFSC), Tinker AFB 73145 is contemplating the Engineering Services to resolve currently known and anticipated unknown obsolescence issues related to the B-2 Fuel Vent Control Valve. The Government intends to issue a solicitation FA8118-20-R-0015 on or about 12 February 2020 with a closing response date of 13 March 2020 and estimated award date of on or about 19 July 2020.� This notice does not in itself represent the issuance of a formal request for proposal and is not intended to be taken as such.� **These dates are subject to change.� Closing/response date will be noted on the solicitation.** The requirements set forth in this notice are defined per Purchase Request FD2030-20-00010 as follows: Written response is required. NAICS: 541330 � Engineering Services RMC/RMSC: N/A NSN: 4810-01-380-9046FW P/N: DAA3272P021-105 Total Line Item Quantity:� CLIN 0001AA: Cost Estimate � Labor, Material and Prototype Development CLIN 0001AB: Fixed Fee CLIN 0002: Data, In accordance with Contract Data Requirements Lists and Performance Work Statement (Not Separately Priced) Item: B2 Fuel Vent Control Valve Description: The B-2 Fuel Vent Valve consists of dual five-inch diameter butterfly valves. Each valve is independently controlled by a transducer/controller/motor combination. When the valve is commanded, each controller sets the vane angle of the valve it controls, independently of the other control unit. The two independent differential pressure transducers, share a common pressure port in the top of the valve. The other port is remote from the valve and extends from the valve to the fuel surge tank. Each vane in the valve is controlled by a separate actuator and controller circuit board. Power is supplied by two independent sources and the vent control valve operates on 28 VDC. It maintains pressures at 5.5 to 6.0 psi positive and 0.7 to 1.2 psi negative.
