- NOTICE OF INTENT REQ DJF-20-0700-0001954 The Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) intends to negotiate a one-time, sole source, fixed price contract with Thermo Electron North America, LLC, 1400 N Point Parkway, Suite 50, West Palm Beach, FL 33407, under the authority of FAR 6.302-1(c) � Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements, for the purpose of procuring a twelve (12) month service agreement for maintenance and repair on four (4) scientific instruments listed below:� �� ELEMENT2 Mass Spectrometer including workstation DELTA V PLUS with UC-3 and Computer EASY nLC 1200 Q Exactive Plus Mass Spectrometer and Computer Technical Requirements include: One (1) demand on-site field service visit with a response within 5 days for items 1, 2 & 3 Engineer labor and travel included for one (1) demand on-site field service visit Unlimited number of demand on-site visits for item 4 Factory-certified replacement parts included (during on-site service) Priority status for technical support inquiries One (1) Scheduled Preventative Maintenance visit for items 1, 2, & 3 Direct software support on items 1, 2, & 4 Support and Coverage of computers (items 1, 2, & 4) required for the operation of the system This Notice of Intent is not a request for competitive quotations; however, interested parties may identify their interests and capabilities by responding to this notice by 5:00 P.M. EST, on Wednesday, February 19, 2020, via email to Clarissa Cooney (cecooney@fbi.gov).� Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.� All contractors anticipating award must be registered in the System for Awards Management (beta.SAM.gov) database.
