Description
The U.S. General Services Administration (GSA) has a requirement to provide design and construction services involving approximately 10,665 gross square feet of tenant improvements on the 12th Floor at the James M. Carter and Judith N. Keep United States Courthouse in San Diego, CA. �The tenant improvement includes construction of (2) new courtrooms, holding cells, and associated judiciary support spaces on the 12th Floor of the Courthouse.� This project will involve: mechanical, electrical, plumbing, vertical transportation, fire and life safety, data, audio and visual, and security systems; the highest quality interior finishes; and extensive premium quality millwork. The work must be performed after hours with no disruption to the existing building tenants and operations.� There are no known hazardous materials in the existing building; however the design build contractor must make necessary surveying prior to demolition activities. The completion time for this project is 440 calendar days from issuance of the Notice to Proceed. The estimated cost range is between $5 million and $10 million. �The proposed contract is being solicited as a Total Small Business Set Aside, in accordance with FAR 19.502-2. �The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 236220 with average annual receipts of less than $39.5 million for the last three (3) years. This project will be solicited utilizing FAR 15.1, Source Selection Processes and Techniques.� Award will be made to the offeror whose proposal conforms to all requirements of the solicitation and is considered to be most advantageous to the Government, cost or price and other factors considered. The Request for Proposal (RFP) will be available for download on beta.sam.gov on or about February 10, 2020.� GSA anticipates that the proposals will be due approximately 50 calendar days after the RFP is issued.� Any questions regarding this notification should be directed to the Contracting Officer listed in this notice. �Potential offerors will be responsible for downloading the solicitation and monitoring the website for amendments, if any, to the solicitation.� Please continue to monitor this announcement to receive the most updated information.
