Description

DESCRIPTION: THIS SYNOPSIS IS FOR INFORMATION PURPOSES ONLY.� The Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR), Precision Strike Weapons Program Office, PMA-201, intends to negotiate and award a Sole Source Fixed Price Order under Basic Ordering Agreement N00019-17-G-0004 to Northrop Grumman Innovation Systems (NGIS), Allegany Ballistics Laboratory, Rocket Center, WV.� This requirement is for up to eight (8) On-Board Recorders (OBR) compatible for the Fuze Munition Unit (FMU-139D/B) required for FMU-139D/B testing.� NGIS is the Original Equipment Manufacturer of the FMU-139D/B fuze and are thus uniquely qualified to produce and deliver an OBR compatible with the fuze. THIS ANNOUNCEMENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL. THE GOVERNMENT WILL NOT PAY NOR REIMBURSE ANY COSTS ASSOCIATED WITH RESPONDING TO THIS REQUEST. All businesses capable of meeting the above requirements are invited to respond electronically. Responses shall include company name, address, DUNS number, CAGE code, point of contact with email address and telephone number, and indicate business size.� Subcontracting opportunities may be available and should be sought with from Northrop Grumman Corporation Defense Systems Sector Alliant Techsystems Operations LLC Allegany Ballistics Laboratory 210 State Route 956 Rocket Center WV 26726.� THE GOVERNMENT IS UNDER NO OBLIGATION TO AWARD A CONTRACT AS A RESULT OF THIS ANNOUNCEMENT.�
