- NOTICE OF INTENT TO SOLE SOURCE The U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) Office of Acquisition Management (OAQ) intends to award a sole source Firm-Fixed-Price Contract to ABM Industries, for the provision of 8 parking spaces at the ICE Miami office located at 333 S. Miami Ave, Miami, FL 33130. The Government intends to award a sole source purchase order to ABM Industries for the exclusive use of 8 parking spaces for a period of one year. ABM Industries is the only provider of parking spaces that meets the safety and security requirements of the Government and is therefore the �only source reasonably available� to supply the required parking spaces. (FAR 13.106-1(b)(1)(i)). All other parking facilities located in the immediate area are located off-site and/or open to the public, which means that they cannot meet the Government�s safety concerns involved in detainee transport and the security concerns in securing critical Government equipment and property. THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTATIONS. Responsible sources may identify their interest by submitting capability information by 4:00 P.M., EST, on Friday, February 28, 2020, in order to establish the ability of the source to meet this requirement. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. The Government will not be responsible for any costs associated with the preparation of responses to this notification.
