- This pre-solicitation notice is being issued in accordance with FAR Part 5. The Department of Veterans Affairs, Veterans Health Administration, Network Contracting Office (NCO 7) intends to solicit proposals from interested and qualified contractors. The proposed acquisition is for Waste Disposal Services for the Atlanta VA Health Care System. The government anticipates awarding a Firm-Fixed Price Base and Four Option Year Renewal Contract as result of the solicitation. This requirement will be a Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business Set-Aside. The solicitation will be posted on or about February 26, 2020. The applicable NAICS code for this acquisition is 562112 and the size standard is $38.5 Million. Place(s) of Performance: Atlanta VA Medical Center 1670 Clairmont Road Atlanta, Georgia 30033 Projected Period of Performance: Base Year: April 1, 2020 September 30, 2020 Option Year One: October 1, 2020 September 30, 2021 Option Year Two: October 1, 2021 September 30, 2022 Option Year Three: October 1, 2022 September 30, 2023 Option Year Four: October 1, 2023 September 30, 2024 Interested contractors will be responsible for downloading copies of the solicitation (and any subsequent amendments) from the Beta Sam website (https://www.betasam.gov) website, and no hard copies will be made available. The solicitation will provide instructions to contractors about the proposal submission process. Prospective Offerors are encouraged to register their interest in the solicitation on the BetaSam website (https://www.betasam.gov) so that they are notified of the issuance of the solicitation and any amendments. In accordance with FAR 52.204-7, System for Award Management, prospective contractors must be registered in System for Award Management (SAM) and in the VetBiz database if applicable (VetBiz registration is required for Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Businesses or Veteran Owned Small Businesses) under the applicable NAICS. Contractors may obtain SAM information at https://www.betasam.gov and Vet Biz information at http://www.vip.vetbiz.gov. To be eligible for award, contractors must be registered in the System for Award Management database. Registration is free and potential offerors are encouraged to visit the SAM website because no contracts can be awarded to an offeror not registered in SAM.
