Description

The Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) intends to negotiate and award a Cost-Plus Fixed Fee (CPFF) order against Basic Ordering Agreement N00019-15-G-0003, to Raytheon Missile Systems (RMS), 1151 East Herman�s Road, Tucson, AZ 85734-1337, for the procurement of AIM-9X test assets required to support F/A-18 E/F testing.�Two AIM-9X static, non-flightworthy, fully inert ground test articles are anticipated to be procured, with options to procure one flightworthy Captive Test Missile (CTM-9X), with an inert warhead, and a spare flightworthy inert warhead.��A one-year period of performance is expected. NAVAIR intends to award this procurement sole source to Raytheon Missile Systems (RMS), 1151 East Hermans Road, Tucson, AZ 85756-9367, based on the authority provided in FAR 6.302-1, Only One Responsible Source and No Other Sources Will Satisfy Agency Requirements. IMPORTANT ADDITONAL INFORMATION FOR INTERESTED PARTIES:� There are no commitments by the Government to issue any solicitations, make an award or awards, or to be responsible for any monies expended by any interested parties before award of a contract or contracts for the efforts mentioned above.
