- ***Notice to Offerors:��Funds are not presently available for this requirement and no award will be made until funds become available.��No legal liability on the part of the Government for any payment may arise until funds are made available to the Contracting Officer for this contract and until the Contractor receives notice of such availability, to be confirmed in writing by the Contracting Officer. *** The 501st Regional Contracting Office at RAF Alconbury, UK has a requirement for a geospatial survey of fiber optic cables at RAF Molesworth, UK. The contractor shall provide professional services necessary to update the Cyberspace Infrastructure Planning System (CIPS) Visualization Component (CVC) with Outside Plant telecommunications infrastructure information for RAF Molesworth, UK. The contractor shall collect and record the location of outside plant features using Global Positioning System (GPS) surveys; by entering and inspecting manholes (MH), handholes (HH), pedestals, and building entry terminals and Fiber Distribution Panels; and by tagging cable at these enclosures and entering enclosure attributes and cable data into the CVC. For reference the Government will provide existing base outside plant records (see para 5.1 of this PWS). The Contractor shall demonstrate that updated information entered into the CVC is accurate and complete by conducting progress demonstrations that include producing CVC-generated reports and drawings. Please see attached Request for Quote (RFQ) and Attachment 1, Performance Work Statement (PWS) for more details. RAF Molesworth is approximately 80 miles two hours north from London, UK.
